[The Dreamberry is seated next to Ada, who can be seen picking and studying flowers in the field. She looks rather happy about it, humming softly to herself.

While she has a number of different flowers gathered in a small bouquet at her side, she still seems determined.]

I wonder what sort of flower Miss Vanessa would like.

[She hums thoughtfully to herself.]

I have to do something to thank her for agreeing to teach me.

[Her eyes finally rest on a beautiful red flower. The vibrant color of the flower makes her think of Vanessa in a way. It's an amaryllis, she remembers, after a long moment of thought.]

Maybe this one. I wonder if she'll like it. I hope so.

[Ada happily plucks the flowers, careful to preserve the stems the same way she watched Vanessa.]

[For a few moments, Elliot couldn't even think of what to say. His sister had agreed to teach someone from Ada's family?! Usually he would say that she never would, but...]

Ada... You didn't punch Vanessa too, did you?

[Of course he'd think that. She owed him quite the apology too, huh? But somehow she didn't think that he'd like flowers. Maybe she could think of something. For now, an apology would be a good start.]

[It takes a moment for it to sink in. Instead of yelling or putting her down... Elliot gave her some advice.

Ada's face lit up and she nodded enthusiastically.]

Really? Thank you so much Elliot!

[She couldn't thank him enough really.]

[Ada looks up when spoken to and smiles, happy when she sees it's Colette.]

Mmn. [Nods.] Thank you! I hope she likes them.

[She sets those flowers down with the rest she collected. There were all kinds of different flowers of various colors she'd gathered in her search. Whichever ones she didn't pick she decided that she would use to decorate and liven up the place a little. But even for that, she had more than she needed.]

[It's still a bit much for Ada to wrap her mind around sometimes, and she still isn't sure how well it will go, but she's still grateful.]

Oh! [Ada looks down at the screen when she hears Noel's voice.] Mmn. [Nods.]

It's nice. You could come join me if you'd like.

[She's a bit nervous really about just asking like that, but Noel had been so nice to her since she got here, that she already felt like they were friends. But then... maybe that was just her. Ada worried about that a little.]

[Fortunately, Noel's expression indicated that she was clearly more than delighted at that offer.]

Eh? Is that really okay?!

[Of course it was. Why would Ada ask if it wasn't? It was nice, finally having a female friend around her age that she can do young girly things with. Very refreshing, since the past year her only friends were guys and older women who were more of big sisterly figures than friends.]

Th-Then... I'd love to keep you company! Um... Should I get going now? It's my day off today, so...!

Lesson one: don't choose a flower for someone based on what it looks like! An ugly flower can have a beautiful meaning, and something that you find pleasing can send the wrong message!

[Ada should have seen that coming, really, but she'd wanted to do something nice in return and well... for the subject at hand, it really was the only gift she could think of. She probably should have done some studying first too... This certainly wouldn't be easy.]

I suppose you're right, but I think they'll make a lovely bouquet. And you can dry them and preserve them after they die too!

[This was her first time meeting someone other than Elliot who seemed to associate with Miss Vanessa... it was probably that strong personality of hers that kept many at a distance.]
